Yay! Finally, delicious ramen with fantastic broth and the best part is.. you can get it in Sacramento!!! Ahhh.. heaven! Lols.. They have a large selection of ramen and other dishes. But, I ordered the Aka Tonkotsu which is spicy. The ramen is firm and the broth is very rich and tasty. They're also generous with their portion too (large bowls)! They also have friendly service. The waitress comes by often to check on you. Oh, they also have outdoor seating..

Found them on Yelp and was like oh what a great day to have some Ramen! Turns out they are partners with the Akebono's on Freeport. Absolutely delicious! I'm glad I came. The waitresses are so sweet. They're always coming by to make sure you are satisfied with your meal. Definitely 5 stars for that! I had the Aka Spicy Pork though, it was more spice than meat. And my boyfriend had his usual Tan Tan Man that he usually gets from the regular Akebono's. Definitely a meaty flavorful bowl. We also got the Deep Fried Oysters. I must say, the flakes were perfect. Not too much not too little. The batter was so good it didn't have to pull the whole oyster by itself, it just kind of dropped with each bite. Definitely a great place to give a try. I absolutely love it and cannot wait to come back!! =)

I don't have any experience with ramen, though I have always lusted after the pictures, descriptions, and accounts my friends have shared with me of their ramen joys. This is what I understand ramen is supposed to be about. My bowl of Aka Tonkotsu Ramen contained a rich, deep, silky, almost unctuous broth; tender, flavorful pork, and noodles that were nothing like what you will find in that 29-cent packet at your supermarket. The bowl was garnished with beautiful red ginger, black mushrooms, and a perfectly cooked egg. Next time I go I'll ask for extra red ginger because it complemented the broth so well. This restaurant space was previously a mediocre Mexican restaurant. Based on the quality of the food alone I have a feeling Ryujin will excel where the previous tenant did not.
